Next month, I will have become a writer for 11 years. I have experienced many ups and downs in writing, though, what I have been through is not as much as my seniors.
If you ask me why I write or why I choose to be a writer, my answer is because I love writing. There is no other reason. Yeahh... I enjoy every single word I write to create sentences, paraghraphs, and finally turn them into articles or books.
I almost write my daily activity every night before I go to sleep. It has been a ritual for me since I was in elementary school. I have been known by my family as a person who prefers writing to watching television. Yeah... It's like... I can be whoever I want by writing. I can create whatever I dream about. It can't be found by doing other activities.
Honestly, I also write everytime I feel down or happy. Even though those feelings are in contrast, but they can be blended in writing. Writing gives me pleasure and self healing. That's why, I always write my good and bad experiences.
My husband said I was more suitable to be a writer than to be others when we were young. He always totally supports me. I was often reminded by him to write freely, not because of expecting something in return. Wew... It seems... It can't be described. LOL.
But, I don't argue his opinion. Yeah, I have the same thought. When writing activity is just used to earn much money without considering other aspects, we'll become selfish and never satisfied. On the contrary, when writing activity is intended to make everything enlightened, we'll become better.
Everyone has their own purpose in writing, doesn't they? How about you?
